Day by day
Day 01
Arrival in Indore
Airport or station pickup, rest, and Khajrana Ganesh darshan in the evening. Early night — the next morning starts at 2:30am.
Day 02
Bhasma Aarti, Mahakaleshwar
Pre-booked permit, transfer to Ujjain in the dark, and seating inside for the bhasma aarti. Back for a long rest by noon.
Day 03
Ujjain — the wider circuit
Kal Bhairav, Mangalnath, Ram Ghat at sunset. An unhurried day, with the car never more than a few minutes away.
Day 04
Omkareshwar
The second jyotirlinga on the Narmada. Boat crossing and a seated darshan route for anyone who cannot do the parikrama climb.
Day 05
Departure
Morning free for Sarafa or Rajwada if they have the energy, then drop and a confirmation call once they are home.

Worth knowing
Bhasma Aarti means leaving the hotel around 2:30am and dhoti or saree inside the sanctum. If that is too much for them, we keep the permit optional and build the morning around the regular darshan instead.
